Here's what I look like
when I wake up
...and before
I "make-up".
(Fine for housework!)
No makeup
Regular "daytime makeup"
This is what
I usually wear...
(to the grocery store!)
Day makeup
"Evening makeup"
This is the look most students
do at first - but it's still
"not quite there yet."
Evening makeup
Evening-wear makeup
"Evening makeup"
in costume
doesn't look right...
Stage makeup
"Performance makeup"
This look belongs on stage.

The difference between "evening makeup"
and "performance/stage makeup" is a 'pancake'  foundation applied with a barely-damp sponge;
thick, black (waterproof) liquid eyeliner;
false eyelashes;
and rich jewel-toned blush and lipstick;
and of course contouring shadows under the cheekbone and brow bone.

Remember to practice in your makeup to see what happens! I wear contacts so I stay away from powder eyeshadow.

My lovely eyebrows are natural - but sometimes I do extend them with brown pencil.
